Welcome to «GhostArt»!

Hello everyone and welcome! My name is Artem. I like to compose music,  its my hobby. Since 2008 I tried myself  in different styles: blues, rock, there was romance period of classical music and the epic which became my favorite. The conquering melodies of epic, with battling rhythm and mind stirring sounds can fit for casual listening, soundtrack for a movie or other projects.

Writing music is exciting. When I am off from school and work, I compose. There are 12 soundtracks in my first album, named “The Time is Up“. Writing and accumulating self written music all these years I came to the conclusion that it is time to make the album. After the album was born, I decided to build this web site. This is the only way right now where I can show my creations. My dream is to have professional recording studio at home so I can write new soundtracks for my fans. Hopefully, sales of my music bring me some revenue so I can afford to have a studio at home and fulfill my dream.

A Little bit about soundtracks

This is my first serious project. Ironically but the inspiration to write this track came from listening to soundtrack in «Doctor Who”   played at the end of the show. It took me  two month but I did it. You be the judge but I think I created very powerful composition. I remember rewriting different parts of it over and over again. But the finished “product” is like a sledgehammer - mighty and strong. The track combined different thymes, heroic and dramatic in the beginning with powerful  and happy blues finish.
Creation of this track made me to realize that this style music style is what I like the most.

The plan was to write in style Dre, but it turned out Epic. I don’t complain. It came out very strong. I lived in the university apartment when this sound track was born. I still  remember screaming and complaints from my neighbors while listening the composition over and over  blasting my speakers.
Unknowingly, but my neighbors helped me to name this sound track. “ The Drums from Hell”  made my neighbors angry to the point of calling the sounds of the track - the sounds from hell. But in the contrary to the neighbors opinion and with the mix of a guitar, the motive turned out to be more Egyptian than sounds from hell. The ending became as transitional point in quality and level of sound of my tracks - its time to play a life music.
The sound track “The Time is Up” was composed right after “The Drums from Hell”.

This track took only 14 hours to write. Even though it has a plane melody, the track has become one of my best creations. One day, I was trying to find a right note and by simple accident I pressed first three accords. I liked the sound of it and right away I played 1:15 But, due to some live issues I had to leave it for a while and came back to this unfinished project after 3 or 4 month. After short debate about it, I decided to continue and finish the track in the original style. When it was almost all finished, i sat down and played the composition, it turned out extremely touching. After short break I decided to add few “African” choirs and it did helped to complete the track.

After listening to this soundtrack you might ask why it sounds Asian or even more like music from China? Believe it or not but I did not hear any Chinese melodies in the track until somebody wrote a comment about it. For me the melody sounded more mystique and  enigmatic than Chinese.
The history of this composition and a braking point in quality of my writing in general pretty simple.
I’ve been listening to Epic music on U Tube for as long as I remember, mainly compositions written for Hollywood movies. The inspiration to write in style Epic came from listening to Hans Zimmer who composed music for over 100 films and  relatively young band Two Steps From Hell . But mostly, the Epic influence came from listening to 2 guys from Two Steps From Hell. These guys compose most amazing soundtracks on computers as well as playing life instruments. Listening to these guys play, I said to myself: I can do it solo. It took me 16 hours to compose the track. After it was all done and settle and the track was in mp3, I gave it to friends to listen. Everyone loved it. I hope you will enjoy it as well.

Summer, friends, beer, warm breeze brings soft sounds of John Lee Hooker’s blues playing in near by beach coffee - relaxation. Best time to compose. I grabbed the computer, downloaded few drum beats samples and played softly some piano over and over. Slowly, step by step the soundtrack “Bluesman” came to life. The name says for itself, it is blues and I am sure,  those of you who like and appreciate blues will most likely enjoy this composition.

Thanks for reading the stories of the soundracks! Now, you can purchase the tracks you like!
